About

I’ve had my nose in a book since I was a little girl. In fact, my mom once confiscated Little Women from me for reading past my bedtime. (I begged and pleaded and followed her around until she finally relented and gave it back to me.)

In college I discovered that if I studied English and publishing, I could legitimately keep my nose in a book and even get paid for it.

Then I met Ken, and the poet in me fell in love with the composer in him. We’ve been married for more than 20 years, and together we’ve built a creative agency and a family of young creatives. This means our house is often messy, and sometimes I forget practical things, like making dentist appointments. But something new is always being made, and that brings me more joy than a clean house.

Our home is anything but quiet, but I’ve discovered that cultivating a quiet life is more about the state of my soul than the state of my surroundings. If you’re in need of a place to reflect and quiet your soul too, then I hope you’ll feel nurtured here.
